Searched and can't find anything on accessing the fog light assembly on an e60 LCI. The one instruction I found through the wheel well on a pre-LCI didn't work.
Do I have to pull the entire engine under the vehicle?
One of mine was pushed back out of place by a flying tire tread; probably will need a replacement, but not sure until I get to the darn thing!
Any help appreciated!

An easy way is to remove the headlights. To do so, you need to unscrew 4 screws per headlight. For the two in the back of the headlight, don't unscrew them all the way or you may lose them.
Once the headlight is removed you should have access to the fog assembly. Might have to reach further down, but I found this method the easiest when installing HID fogs.
Good luck, hope this helps.

it's the same for LCI and pre-LCI.
are you referring to this install: https://5series.net/forums/topic/591...fog+install%22
^on my LCI 2008 535i, those instructions worked perfectly
here's another great DIY via removing the headlight: https://5series.net/forums/topic/927...st__p__1096900
do you have an mtech front bumper, if so you'll need a little more "effort" to get the bottom splash guard to come down IIRC
