Default 2008 rear lights on a 2006

First of all, this is my first post on this forum so if i'm in the wrong thread my apologies, however, I just recently bought a black 2006 525i and even though i'm loving the car ....i really can't help but want the 08 rear lights on my car. there just so damn sexy. I want to know if it's possible to get these lights installed on my car? and if so, the price of such a addition...

thanks

Possible? Yes ... but not a straight swap, at the very minimum a conversion module/pack or a full blown light conversion including front & rear lights, wiring & light control module ... I've done both.

Welcome to the forum! Yes, you posted correctly!

In 2008, BMW changed the design of the E60 slightly (called LCI) so that many body parts are different not cannot be swapped. People spend crazy money converting things like lights, but in my opinion, it's not worth it.

Brand new taillights(lens and bulb carrier) and conversion box is all that is needed for tails.
20 minute job but cost me around a $1000aud.....looks awesome(Ricky mod) so i am happy.
Bruce Miranda makes the conversion box,see more in this thread https://5series.net/forums/group-buy...gs-bfd-123995/
