Looks mean and the black 172s are hot! IMO black roundels/ wheel caps would definitely match the car. I would have done it if I had a black car.

How much was the ticket for front window tints? - I'm in SoCal and I roll down my fronts when I spot a cop ASAP. Mine are 20% all around and have been lucky so far.

Was also wanting to do the split exhaust in back. Their was a post in the member classifieds with a guy wanting to switch out the M5 bumper and exhaust for the MTech one. Hopefully that will work!
Yep, AEs were plug-n-play and no error codes. I think Cal@jlevis has them on special right now for around $160. As for them being brighter, I'm sure since I don't know which ones you were looking to purchase.

I should say write up instead of ticket sorry. I got one write up for both the license plate and the windows on same "ticket". You have to get fixed then you have to bring your car to chp (so they can inspect in person) office to get signed off on. I waited quite a while before getting fixed and was pulled over again. Showed the officer my previous ticket and he said that's "no excuse" lol. After that first writeup I'm not allowed to drive my car until it could be signed off on. Terrible. So he wrote me another write up saying next time I would have to pay fines. So long story short it costs $25 for fix-it ticket cus you have to pay an administrative fee. So I would just roll with yours until you get pulled over. A real a**hole cop can write you a ticket the first time, but most will just give you the ticket of the fix-it variety. Lol. F***ing cops

You don't have to actually go to chp either. If you know a cop (my dad's neighbor is chp) they can sign off for you. Car has to be fixed though. I tried having a cop friend sign off without fixing anything and he wouldn't do it. Is California the only state this strict??

its not that expensive:

you just have to paint it and install it and your ass will look a lot sexier too

Does the trunk finisher come with anything to install it? I think I read somewhere that 3M works best, true?
