Gentlemen,
This is probably the last mod that i would want for my ride. I just purchased 2006-up BMW E60 M5 OEM Side Mirrors from an Ebayer (as per the seller, these mirrors should fit E60 5-Series 2006-up models). There are 3 wires (Brown, Green and Red) and a 4 pin connector (one of the connector is empty). My ride is E60 530XI (Model Year- 2007, Vehicle Production Date 2006/07, Motor Type N52, Wholesale Date- 08/10/2006, Retail Date- 09/09/2006, In-Service Date- 09/09/2006). My current mirrors are heated, auto dim and auto dip(passenger side), and has puddle light. But, i am not sure about the wires and connector as i have not seen it yet. So, is installing the M5 mirror going to be plug and play?. I am not worried about auto fold now (but will be a future mod).
Thanks in advance.

I was not able to find even one picture of the mirror along with the wiring harness (similar to the one in my car). I could find pictures of mirrors in ebay which has 3 connectors which is probably not the one in my car as per your reply. If the M5 mirror that i have is plug and play for my car, then i am satisfied.
And, if i need to make the Auto Fold work, Do i need to replace the door control panel with the one that has the Folding Switch?
Instead, can i just have an expert from here help me program the Auto Fold option using the Key fob, so that i can just use the Key Fob to Open and Close the Mirrors?.
One more thing, the M5 Mirrors are Gloss black and my car is Titanium Silver Metallic. Do you think the M5 mirrors match my car, or should i get it painted? (My Trims are all Matte Black).
Thanks
