Okay, So I finally get bored of OEM yellow angels and ordered the white ones.
Now I have gathered that the headlight unit has to come out and I was researching about the DIY steps.
I don’t want to break anything and hence very careful about what I’m doing (experiments are only for science labs)
Please direct me to a step by step DIY for this.
I have researched enough but all seems to replace it without having to remove the headlight.

I used to just replace it without removing the headlight but that is a personal preference.

 

I already saw this video. I can take the headlights out but the problem comes to take out the Angel bulb. I can't take it out. neither there is any special instruction I can find anywhere. Please help !

 

I used a long Phillips screwdriver to loosen the socket out

 

did you replace your headlights with LCI ones? because the topic header says 2006 550, but the LCI didn't happen until 2008. pre-LCI and LCI headlights are different. changing LCI angel eyes is very easy. just unscrew an easy accessible plastic cover by hand and replace the bulb.
