2005 545i Apline White, Lowered with 22" Asanti's
#1
I just turned twenty and have been working my ass off to get my first five series. After much debate I have chosen an Alpine White, sports pack, navi, and premium over a SilverGrey with Black interior, sports, navi and premuim and Jet Black with grey interior with same options. Please let me know if I am heading in the right direction. This is what I forcast on my bimmer. Lowering it, folding the fenders and putting 22" asantis. Tint and double 10" subs in the back. I haven't decided on an exhaust system because I can't find anything that has a low throaty sound. What do you think?? I am paying $33k with 37k miles. (2005 545i)

Good color but I might be a bit biased. Two 10's won't be very loud unless you get some kind of crazy custom box. Other than that sounds good..... For a show car you might want to look into bodykits and such.. just a suggestion.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
For the exhaust you can add more resonators to stop the loudness of the roar.
The two tens, if you get some good subs the sound quality would be nice but not ridicules bass.
The rims are strait if you know what your doing wit the dub deuces.
Goodluck with everything. Everyone will be waiting for pics.

thanks everyone. I'll be sure to post pictures. my car hasn't arrived yet. it will go through a complete inspection. "how much would you guys think i should lower it." im not looking to do any extreme lowering, just a classy style with my asanti's. appreciate the exhaust input. ill check some out. what kind of kits are there??

welcome aboard, RefinedBimmer!
22" is very aggressive set up but doable. You need to choose the offset with the extreme careful. Wrong offset, don't matter how you roll the fender, it just won't do it.
I tried 22" on my M5 and boy... it is full...
But these wheels aren't made for M5 spec. They are for 6 series. Sorry for crappy pics - they are from my phone.
