Hello everyone,

My dad had retrofit a CIC into a 2004 e60 530i right before I bought it off of him. I am having an issue where I cannot get any sound after the installation. No door chimes, Seatbelt warning, audio, etc. I have searched the forums how to code but can not find any solutions to this problem for this specific model/year. Any feedback and help would be greatly appreciated. I am a noob at coding so sorry if I come off as slightly dense.

 

ok, well i tried to FA_WRITE VO #0310, #0908, #0909 to CAS three different times which were successful as well as $6VA. However I was unsuccessful when i tried to fa_write it into the LMA ecu. Got an error in NCSEXPERT.
I thought it'd be a good idea to change ECU to CIC (now that i saw it as an option) and sg_codeirun.. now I have my door chimes back but my CIC display is blank.. and eventually turns grey. I f*cked up.. ANY help please! I have done hours of research this past week but I am not getting anywhere -.-

 

I have 06 525i and am in the same boat. I cant write VO to LMA and coding CIC is failed. Dont know what to do at this stage
