Folks - don't mean to kick a dead horse, but am looking for advice regarding front wheel 255/35 fitment options for a non-M E60. I know the standard 20" solution is 245/30/20, but I'd like to get these 20x9 ET5 255/35/20's (David's Klassen 10.2's) to work if I can. They're rubbing along front upper quarter on dips as expected, but not too bad.. My stock 550 sport suspension has settled nicely, and I was running my 172's w/ 12mm frnt & 15mm rear spacers w/o any issues. Would like to know if there's been any success out there w/ minor "adjusments" (e.g., fender rolls, camber adjustments, etc.) - or if the only answer is to swap the tires out to 245/30/20.
Thanks in advance for any advice..

those tires are too wide, the wheels are fine but the tires wont stop rubbing
you need smaller tires or do massive inner and outer fender rolls and that might not even change the issue

OK - appreciate the response, guys. Sounds like moving to a 245/30 tire is still the only sure fire solution...

I am fine with 255/30/R20 on 20x9 rim with ET15 (ET20 + 5mm spacer) on my factory M-Sport suspension (15mm).
ET5 would be a definite no-go with those tyres. Your suggested 245/30/R20 could be ok, but its obviously the ET5 on your rim that is the key challenge. My Yokohamas are very wide compared to the Dunlops and Contis I had on my 19s. I suggest you get some advice on what tyre to use, as that may also help reduce the risk of rubbing.
Hope you get it sorted
