I was just kiddin' there. But yes, it often happens that people cannot - for whatever reason - find exactly what they are looking for. I used to be kind of like that myself and I honestly think it is totally okay. It is better that someone who hasn't found the info post a redundant thread, than walk away thinking the forum sucks IMHO.

I'm not sure if its still this way, but it used to be that you couldn't just search for "Xi" - it would tell me that the search term has to be at least three characters. Also, amazingly enough, with all the differences between the RWD and the Xi, there is no Xi subforum/category.

X-DRIVE is a rear-wheel biased AWD system with a 40/60 distribution under most conditions. There are minimal benefits from having wider wheels in the back for this reason.

X-DRIVE also feels like a rear-wheel drive car more-so than say a Audi Quattro, which feels like a front wheel drive.

Right, so because it is AWD there should be minimal oversteer so I don't understand why the need for staggered wheels. RWD cars use staggered wheels for more grip and thus reducing the amount of oversteer, when I had my e46 xi I just used non-staggered wheels.
