Well it depends on where you live & how stiff you like your ride. For me at least iam sticking to my old tried & true method of the Plus 2 fittment technquie. On my old E36 model 3 series i went with 17's ,as stock was 15's, with my E46's i went with 18's. This fittment i think works best for the handling/stiffness tradeoff & keeping my wheels round & not square. Looking foward for the weather here in NYC area to warm up a bit so i can finally go & pick up my 19's. Which ever size you end up chossing enjoy & post pics when you do.

Do the 20's if you can. i just got a 2005 545 with sport package and need to sell my 18's. i want 20's but I don't think BMW makes 20's so i might have to stick with 19's. Post pics with your new rims.

[/quote]No i don't have to roll my fender at all.
20x9 front and 20x10 rear.. the tires are 245/35/20 and 275/30/20. And everything runs perfect..
The car will look better with 20". There are some OEM 20" BMW wheels for E60.

20s... by far. i'd go 21 if you can afford it. guy here in town has 21" lowenharts and looks gorgous. not a big fan of match-painting nor a white grill but still looks good. check it out..
