I was about to get my 124's powder coated. Attempting to go the Bronze route, Look here

Well I was thrown a curve ball, one of my rims is bent, and according to the shop, beyond repair. Not knowing much about wheel repair, I do find this a little odd, since the tire was still holding air. But notheless I'm contemplating purchasing a new 18" set, since my tires are new, and this will eventually become my winter set.

So, to my question: I'm looking for wheel recommendations for some 18" staggered wheels. I like the "Breyton Race GTS" in black, but I'm afraid the 18" might look too small.

I would like to stay >$300 per wheel.

Any ideas?

Quick look at TireRack and the 18" Breyton Race GTS only comes non-staggered. So that won't work. Now I really need some help

You could always just buy one replacement 124. Detroit Tire and Wheel sells them for a pretty reasonable price. I purchased one there a year ago when I destroyed one of mine.

Just replace the rim with a new OEM one.

Cheap rims are of no good quality.

There is nothing I would get for my car that costs less than $300 per wheel. Best I can see in that range is BBS CK on tirerack, $375 a wheel. But I am partial to BBS. Just had a good history with their wheels and they make OEM wheels for BMW.

Why not go w/ 19" wheel like some VMR's? They are by no mean cheap in quality but very affordable. Check the VMR link in my signature for some pictures or PM me for info.
