Hi,

Can anyone out there help me? I am after a set of original 172 alloys for my 530d (06 plate) - is anyone selling them or know anyone who can help?

My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i Sport Package, Jet Black M166 OEM Wheels M5 Style Body kit RPI Scoop BMC Air Filter Valentine One Radar Detector 35% tint all around

these are not m5 rims, they normally come with 550 sport.

i like those wheels also, but i like the m5 ones better. good luck finding them.

M5 wheels are style 166.

Post LCI 550i Sport wheels are style 172, which is what you have pictured.

M6 wheels are style 167.

I love my 172s but would not turn down a set of 167s. I am really into the look of the 172s because nothing else on the road looks like them but they are a serious PITA to clean.

Ok thanks for letting me know, I really want a set of these wheels.

Im in UK and am struggling to find a used set of these... I also want a pair of M5 mirrors again from someone.

Edit: Currently you can get them with Falken for 2199, 99 Euros or with Dunlop for 2299,99 Euros.

(In Europe they don't come as standard on any model but are optional for all E60 M-sport models)

i wonder if he can get 172's from gary? will they ship over the pond? maybe your better off finding the 172's and tires from a local shop.. either way.. i have both..

Gary does not ship overseas, unfortunately for some.

I'd prefer 167s to 172s, they look too hard to clean.
