19's in those sizes should fit just fine.

I assume the offset of the 167's is compatable with the e60 then?

I know the tires will fit, I'm asking whether or not the offset of the 167's (M6 wheels) will fit an e60? I seen some pictures of e60's with those wheels on them, but I thought that they might be reps (which I have absolutely no interest in)

Yes, they will fit just fine. With ET28 offsets on the rears, you can use either 275 or 285 tire widths. You can get ET17 offsets and your wheels will be out further, but you'll be limited to 275's.

Lou, help me out, are you saying that OEM wheels can be purchased from BMW with DIFFERENT offsets? (ET28, ET17?), I thought the manufacturer produced a wheel for a specific car (style 167 for the M6, style 166 for the M5) and each wheels fixed offset just happen to be compatable with BOTH cars? Please pardon my ignorance.

The 167's are made to fit the rear of the M5 (ET28) and the rear of the M6 (ET17). Take a look at this site

and your questions should be answered.
