since not the diff, id say exhaust (one of the axle-back exhausts offered by companies unless pull the trigger on something like RDSport QUAD) and/or an ecu remap. for looks maybe you might would like to drop it. good luck.

SoCal, if you're set on only $1500, I'd suggest the remus muffler and some lowering springs. You can do both and still have a couple hundred to spare. Your car will then look sportier with the sound to match.
