Why would you put the 135 breaks on a E60?
Most people go with the M5 breaks, or the 535/550 sport breaks or just straight Brembos.

Both of the OEM solutions have very good stopping power.. the M5 one s add more fade resistance, but require more wheel clearance for the calipers and roters....

M5 brakes?
I have them and they are nothing special. A big improvement on the stock brakes, but not the best on the market. Made by ATE.

135i (and Z4 3.5i) have Brembo 6 pistons.

At the moment my MINI with Brembo 4 pistons stops better than my E60.

e60 weights a whole hell of a lot more than a mini so stopping an e60 would require a lot more force.....i don't really know anything about breaks, but this just makes sense. GL figuring it all out

The mini weighs a lot less requiring less stopping power

Yes, but with ATE brakes it would be worst than what it is now.

How many Kg/lbs weighs a 135i/Z4 3.5i ? Not less than 1500 Kg. And the 545i is 1600 Kg.

You have only the front M5 brakes (See from your sing.)
I have replace my stok brakes (on thusday) with front/rear M5 brakes.
The difference from stok brakes for the moment is in the steering wheel.I can feel the havy weihgt from brakes ...
After a few khm(100-200)on it ,the mecanical sey i feel the big stop power.I see....
To the OP be carrefull the weihgt from brakes (disc/calipers) change the feeling from driving.
