Not sure if anyone has seen these, but I was walking through Sam's Club the other day and passed by a stack of diecast models, and came across a M5. They were on sale for $11.99
Needless to say, I have one now

Nice Xmas present
This make is ok but the old Kyosho is much better made. They don't make them any more so they are very rare to get on ebay.
these cost 5 time more

I have that orange modified one from Maisto in my office at work.

I also have a black one and a white Moto GP Safety Car, both in 1:18 scale and a 1:46 scale of the Nurburgring Taxi. All those are from Kyosho though.
welcome to the club
I also have all the Kyosho 1:18 and 1:43 of the Moto GP Safety Car, Nurburgring Taxi, M5 silver and a normal E60 silver

Yup Kyosho, and Autoart build 1:18 models for collectors and enthusiast, and unfortunatelly, Maisto builds toys for little kids.

Sorry but I am a model snob. Only rock AutoArt, Kyosho and rarely MiniChamps.

I am usually the same way also, unless I plan on modding them. Thats when I go with Maisto. Its cheaper just in case you break it,.

This makes me remember the time when Vegastrashed (Joe) bought my then two year old son a 1:18 scale M5 from Kyosho. Don't know what we were thinking letting my son play with a $90 model car but within a minute, the side mirrors broke off. About a day later, the car had no wheels and the windshield was cracked.

I was just cleaning out his old toys 2 days ago and found one of the disc brakes in his Lego box. LOL!!!!
