you can try to get it from the dealer or the forum, or Garry from Newport BMW. You will also need a cable adapter to have it work with an 05 car.
I love the look of the 08 tails. Definitely get it if u can.

iwill make it simpel to you:
1- you need a set of the new 08 tail lights ,, cost you 500 erou
2- bruce_miranda cabel he have two kind of cables V5 - V4 , very good price and honest seller just contact him .
also i advice you to change the plate light to white as M3
