the 535 has the same brakes as the 545/550, so yes, the M5 units will bolt right up. other than the calipers/rotors/pads, you'll need the rotor set screw from the M5, and on the rears, you can either live without a set screw or go nuts and make the hole for the screw.
if you still have the style 124s, test fit them...I don't think the m5 brakes will fit under them.

Aside from the screws, it seems all else is np?
Also, I have 166's now so no worries on the fit
Thanks

I know, I know...next car
When I originally bought this car, I had no interest in an M5 or modding it whatsoever. Then DINAN needed a 535i test car and it got me started. Then, I found this site and it was over
You'd be surprised though at how little I've actually spent all things considered.
Someday something will come out that'll give me another 100hp and I'll give you a run for your money
Besides, if I had an M5 at this point, I'd still find just as much to spend money on...

Soooo ... is Dinan offering some form of financial consideration for your car to be a test balloon for their mods?
Yes they did for the DINAN mods that I have...

Would you happen to have a PN for the rotor set screw? Also how many I would need (front and rear just in case I drill rear). I highly doubt that I'd be getting those screws with the set I just bought. Appreciate that heads up...

34 11 1 123 072, one per side. the M5 has 2 per disc, but only 1 hole will line up on the fronts.

Of course you know Fugs, if you keep buying like this for your car, you'll be reduced to eating Top Ramen for a while!! Poor kids!

Ha no doubt. At least now I can afford to have a hot dog w/my Ramen to get some protein in. A few more mods and it's noodles only for me!

I was thinking..... Do I even need these. The lugs will hold the rotors on correct?

I didn't mod ANYTHING. Just I didn't installed M5 plates (I don't know the name, those metallic layers, becuse the 545i doesn't have corresponding holes) and I left factory ones.
