About to catch this thread up.......

Here are the rest of the shots I have. I kind of gave up on taking pictures since my images were not working. Can't wait to get into another project.

Both catch cans installed..

Full access to the turbos from up here.

Shots from under....

Another side note. If you do not take the motor mount off you cannot completely remove this heat shield(circled in red) for the front turbo oil and coolant lines. You will have to be creative here as I cannot remember exactly what order I removed which lines. Removing the motor mount would have require so much more work than this inconvenience.

Turbos removed...See the heat shield?

There was a heat shield on the motor mount that I removed which makes installing the v band clamp much easier. Next time I am in there I will take photos of how I have the clamps positioned.

The car started smoking from the engine bay and thought it was from the ofhg but the smoke was coming from a leaking coolant line that broke.

While waiting for parts I decided to button up my expansion tank. I had to do some more trimming before it would fit on the new hole.

Now it does not rub up against the body.

Here are front and back images of RBTurbo boost solenoid bracket.

Here is how she currently sits. No leaks...No codes...

Now to start gathering parts to relocate my dsc.

Ok, I decided to fix my leaking dynamic drive sway bar. Here is the thread where I do that. So far so good. Have a look if you want!!!

Here are the before and after pictures of the sway bar and a video of commissioning the ARS system:

I was trying to use INPA and was not able to talk to the car and perform various functions. I am now using Rheingold and am having success. I am going to refurbish an old laptop or look into running ISTA+ on a tablet. Feel free to recommend anything Here is a screen shot of ISTA+

Well I got some stuff done to the car and more parts ordered. I am feeling very confident on this retrofit. There will be some modification needed but I am hoping not much. Here is where I am.

Parts gathered so far. Hope I have enough wire...

plugs removed:

Test fitting. Some modification necessary to avoid brake lines.. I wasn't comfortable with the brake rubbing and do not want to install any M5 brake lines.

all kinds of rubbing going on back there.

the bracket cut...

Installed around oem brake lines. See the new bolt hole location on the top left I had to drill. I will modify this a touch more before I plastidip it for protection.

Made use of some old radiator hose to further protect the brake lines.

Fully installed... I may remove that silver bracket as I think the fender liner can hold up the underbody guard. I will test it tomorrow.

*** I did remove this bracket ***

Now just waiting for more parts.

Decided tidy up this install and find out exactly what parts I need and what I can return. I will post a new picture in here of the parts will be needed to order.

I cut the bracket a touch more to make room for brake lines.

Now I will paint the bracket and wait for parts.

Here are the parts you will need to order for the bracket. Some of the previous parts are not necessary.

Image number 4 is N/A for some reaseon, here is the part number and you will need 3 of them: 07-14-6-971-298.

I just received more parts but have other priorities to handle be fore I dive into them.

I also found that the swaybars did seal but there is another portion that uses an 0-ring to seal it and that is leaking. My fix was successful to fix the leaking boots, but I do not think this leak can be repaired.

I also found this leak on the active drive system.

Not sure what I am going to do about those leaks just yet but I am really leaning towards removing the dynamic drive system and installing solid sways.
