Hi I'm new to the forum.
I was wondering if anybody has put a blowoff valve on their 535i.
I'm also new to modifying so some advice would be great.

i know of one vendor currently working on a blow off valve, but is still in R&D. if and when it comes to fruition, we'll make plenty of noise!

in the meantime, there's plenty of mods to complete to keep you busy!

We call it a dump valve in the UK .

To "blow off" has a different meaning over here

Let me warn you , on the E90 forums there are some Horror stories of people running Blow off valves that have caused catastrophic Engine/ turbo failures on the N54's. They run in the 12-15k just to get he motor replaced... out of your pocket. They can cause the turbos to spin well above what they are designed for. The turbos on the N54 are kinda small and cast in to the block , if they go , they also can damage the block too...

I would advise against them...
But I would say it's up to you.
