'07 M5 springs on a 04' 530 (non sport)?

My Ride: 2004 530i, Silver Gray, Premium Pkg, Cold Weather package, Black Leather seats with lumbar support, Poplar wood finish. Mods: M6 19" wheels with 245/35/19 Front Tires 275/30/19 Rear Tires, K&N Filter, H&R Sway bars, Magnaflow Muffler, Sprint Booster, Black front grill, M-tech front bumper, Debadged

I am trying to figure out if I can fit springs from a 2007 M5 in my 04-530 (non-sport).

Has anyone done this? I would apprecite any inputs.

I'm not sure, but I don't think its not going to work on a non-M suspension.

why not go with aftermarket springs like H&R, Eibach or coilovers

I am considering this beacue I am getting the M5 springs from a friend who has just added a Dinan package to his M5 ... need to know if they will work on a 530.

I agree with that. For the price, you are better off going aftermarket. You will get a better performance upgrade that is suited directly for your vehicle.
