06 M5 is using D1S or D2S??

My Ride: E60 530iase RHD,Silver Titanium, Breyton Spirit 20". H&R lower Spring. Soon M5 front,rear bumber and also side skirts
D2S will be a lightbulb for the before sep09/05 (pre-model). that's what i am think, but my car is a post model and the lightbulb come with D1S (after sep09/05.)

I looked through realoem.com and it says D1S. I've also been trying to upgrade my bulbs to 6000K but for some reason, some of the D1S bulbs we've tried did not fit.

No, I haven't replaced it yet. Need to find a D1S bulb that will fit. I have a friend that has 6000K D1S bulbs he bought from Hella and it worked and he might switch to 8000K bulbs and sell me his old ones.
