'06 530xit (wagon) - how big can the rims go?

My Ride: '06 530xi sw
Looking to upgrade the look of my wagon - 06 530xit, the US model + everything EXCEPT the Sport package.
Dealer told me the sport package for this particular model is really only the seats. (REALLY???)
If I start with the rims, how big can the car take without suspension mods? Can I do a 20"?
The stock 17" rims are kind of tiring now...
