Read through back posts on this topic but not get definitive answer, so please forgive me if I missed the info. I myself would like to hook up the aux input wire to wherever it goes behind the dash(?) to the armrest compartment between driver/passenger.

I fully understand that the dealer needs to program "ON" this function. Since I have a scheduled maintenance during which the dealer will be updating my software, there should be no additional charge for this.

So, could someone please provide the following info:
1. Location of Aux input and instructions to gain access to it
2. Which aftermarket adapter cords are directly compatible with this input and will be hopefully long enough to reach center compartment and plug directly into iPOD Nano base.

P.S. I will also hook into power from the rear passenger cigarette lighters as was suggested by one of the previous posts (and as I presently use for a cellphone base mounted in this compartment.
