So im at the point where my immaculate 04 530i is reaching 100k. I always planned that once my car reached 100k I wanted to build a turbo kit for it. Since my car only sees a couple hundred miles every couple months ( Tampa, FL ) so even driving year it doesn't get daily use. Now to the point I was searching youtubo hoping to see that someone else that took the plunge and swapped the M5430 (not in a e46 body) to a boosted fun daily driver. Now I know I have to ditch my zf6hp19 because I have no doubts it will not hold anymore torque than what my stock 228hp or what ever it has. Which honestly seems more because I ran a normal audi (not rs3) and was shocked when I got him up top. So it seems this motor everyone buys the cx racing kit on their e46's. Now the big question has anyone else attempted this or just sold their cars for an e46 chassie? I have some sentimental value and attachments to this car I have dome a bunch of work over the years from swapping the M5 interior to rebuilding the trans mechatronics unit myself. The first time I ever even worked on an automatic. So is this possible to do being in Florida I have to have A/C and the ABS system looks to be in the way. Right now the car is torn down doing a valve cover gasket job. And im thinking about selling my crypto mining gpu's ( GTX FTW3 ULTRA 3080'S) they run 2k each and im about done mining eth. Im an IT guy and have racks of servers in my house and want to consolidate all my crypto from all my accounts to one. I'm not even sure how much crypto I own.
