Now I did perform a search before deciding to start another thread on this topic so bare with me please. Yesterday just for a quick and inexpensive temporary fix I purchased a set of the BRICA's with the big ugly suction cups from TARGET and they do help but their fitment leaves a lot of room for improvement and the large suction cup mechanism's are hideous.
So I decided to call my local BMW dealer, Westside BMW here in Houston, and the parts guy told me that they offer a rear passengers window and quarter window shades in manual operation form. Man oh man BMW sure are proud of their parts because both are over $200 each
and I was told that they do not have a manual or suction form rear window shade. There is a rear window shade that is electric but it was not offered on the '04 525i.
So cutting to the chase are there any good aftermarket shades sold for the rear passenger windows and rear window? Will I be relegated to eBay for the side shades and who offers a clean full rear window that has a clean fitment?
Thanks in advance,
Gregg

You can get a manual shade for the rear window.
BMW part # 51460394323
You can buy the manual sun shades for the rear doors on eBay, but they run about $100/each, so you're looking at $400 for a set.
There's a company in England that sells a sunshade kit for the E60.
nm-motorsport that cost about $200 + shipping.

Just a heads up for everyone in Houston and the surrounding area's. After talking with the owner of NM_Motorsports at length about a set for my car we have formed a partnership and I will soon be his US based distributor. He is already established in the UK and in Australia and has been looking for a US based partner. He has the majority of the BMW and Audi vehicles covered so that is where we will focus our efforts until development proceeds with US based vehicles that are not sold in the UK. We talked for about 2hr's last night and he has ordered a set for me for my car from his manufacturer and I should take delivery of them within the next 3-4 weeks. So once I receive them I am looking forward to introducing myself and the product to the Houston area BMW owners.
Mods I hope I have not overstepped any boundaries but if I have please let me know and tell me how I should proceed.
Thanks,
Gregg
