It's because they are "feather like" light and "stone like" strong ...you get what you pay for

When we were at BMW FIZ Munich (materials strength laboratories) they showed the 167's at the visitors as M5 wheel

E60 Forums worldwide meeting, FIZ visitors, they can confirm this.
