The PS3's are actually an OEM tire that only come in 2 sizes. They are made for the E63 AMG and Audi A5. They have the same characteristics as the PS2, hence the reason they're not considered a replacement for the PS2. The Super Sports are the PS2 and PS3 of the future, for non-oem spec'd cars. Read the article from the Detroit Auto Show this year, Tony.

Yeah I read about them in an article in Bimmer magazine also. I'm surprised that they're actually almost $200 cheaper per set than the PS2s when I looked on TireRack (for 255/35/20 and 285/30/20).

They had to. The Conti Extreme DW's were getting tons of great reviews with a price that was half the PS2. Michelin knew this and had to keep it competitive without looking like they've been raping their PS2 customers for years.
