C's Bimmer

After 3 years of the same look, I decided to change things up a bit. I was a bit hesitant to go this route with the wheels, as I loved how my R10's looked with the polished lip, but after pressure from one member in particular, I decided to go for it. I have to admit that the car looks absolutely evil now, but I'm still getting used to it.

The tires are the new Michelin Pilot Super Sports (or what some people have been calling the new PS3's, to replace the PS2's). Simply put, these tires are the best ultra high performance tire that's out there. They were just released by Michelin this year and as many of the reviews say, they are even better than the PS2's (with 30% better tread life and improved wet traction). Aside from the best tire grip I have ever driven on, they are dead silent and super comfortable. I've been beating on them hard and the rear refuses to slip. They're not cheap, but I figured the car deserved some good rubber, to go along with the new look. They are worth every penny.

These are 3 piece wheels (Radenergie R10's). Each wheel was broken down into its individual sections (barrels, lips and centers) and prepped for a big makeover. Each section was completely redone with a different color and finish to match various sections of my car and to compliment one another. All the rivets were individually repolished too.

Once the car is complete (few more weeks), I'll post final pix. Until then...
