Actually met an older guy at Advance Auto Parts today, had a Jet Black 2001 740i with M-Sport wheels... flawless condition...seats looked brand new, paint looked brand new, wheels had ZERO brake dust on them...I talked to him and he said he just hit 30k miles.

When you intentionally take the long way home on a Friday night after work, knowing there's a nice 50mph only on ramp with a nice S curve, and you're doing 70 going into the first apex.
You enter above mentioned on ramp with a nice 'rice rocket' following and he backs off thinking you won't make it. Then pulls alongside at the end and stares as you pull away.
You have to explain why you're pushing the brakes with your hand and starting the car.

My Ride: '04 525i. Bluetooth upgrade, SS brake lines, iPod interface upgrade. Air intake kit, sport suspension, 20% tint.
Other: 2001 Audi A4 Avant: S4 suspension, 20% tint, painted calipers, slotted rotors, iPod interface, custom grilles.
When you just bought the car, and want to take care of it so bad, that you do things that totally don't need to be done. i.e. Bought the car with a fresh oil change, but HAD to change the oil right away just so I could use the hidden reset trick on iDrive to change the oil change interval. Too cool.
