My previous two cars were Lexus GS 430's. Bulletproof and comfortable. Then I drove the 545i. I ordered it that day and have since been overwhelmed by this vehicle. 8500 miles since May and I still can't wait to drive it! No problems except for a creaking drivers seat. Easily the best car i've ever owned.

I would only change one thing, well two, I'd have the SAT prep. for satilite radio, and I wish I had SMG.
I took a little drive today up the central coast of california. beautiful winding roads, cool weather and clear skys. Drove it kinda hard, made me remember why I bought the car in the first place .....

i said no.... if i could start over, i'd add AT LEAST premium sound and xenons. I don't know why i didn 't get those
Also i would consider a 530i instead....
Also, i chose no because "a little" wasn't an option

The E-60 is really a wonderful machine.
As the software is updated and improved many little querks will dis-appear I believe.
Fix and finish is the best I have ever had on any car I have owned , at any price.
The 4.4 L motor is worth the price of admission alone.
I love i Drive, no kidding I do, and from now on any review I read if they dis the iDrive, I stop reading the review.
The best brakes, steering, and combination of comfort and sport.
I find myself going into the garage just to look at it, I know that's sick.
I test drove all the same class cars and keep coming back to the 545i , drove the one I liked best and bought it. Yes I have owned BMW's since 1976 , I'm brand loyal, but no other car gave me the kick the 545i did as a 4 door sedan.

Well, thanks for the great responses and as said before, hopefully undecided people will visit this forum and see just how pleased most of us are with our cars!
