Hello everyone!
After being on this forum for at least a month (yes, I'm a relative newbie), I've just heard so many sad stories about members and their cars (Namely, SueBMW, alohalc, 530E60NL and a whole lot more) . It's getting me a bit depressed. :'( Not that I'm complaining about your posts!!! I find them very interesting reads so keep 'em coming!
I can imagine what visitors to this forum would feel after reading about all our problems! They would probably be turned off from buying this car. I know I visited this forum before purchasing my E60.
I'm just curious as to how many people out there are actually happy with their cars and have no MAJOR problems. MAJOR being defined as a problem you CANNOT live with. I leave it to you to gauge what that is as I really just want to know how many are happy with their E60s.
Cheers everyone!

most issues on here are minor though obviously (and rightly so) to the specific owner of the E60 they are significant.
I think I would be only worried if I kept seeing posts titled "engine blew up", "gearbox replacement needed", "Oil leaks everywhere" and that type of thing.
my E60 has a few quirks the dealer needs to fix but nothing major and once i'm driving along listening to my CD I soon forget about the problems and enjoy the car well that is till I remember I aint got Logic7

remember that most of us on this forum must be especially interested in our cars to bother to register. As such we've probably got higher standards than most (I know I have) with regards to our cars. Also, it's the nature of a forum to share little idiosyncracies check out any forum and find it's more or less the same, except maybe the Lexus forum where I know that both Larry and Bill are very happy with their cars!

I think that's a general problem. BMW should work on it... Maybe......
