Anyone can chime in on replacing both WP and thermo on 535i with active anti-roll bar or ARS (as part of sport package).
I have a strong feeling you need to undo the hydraulic lines for ARS to get access to WP and thermostat, I am sure someone done this already.

Just hope that's not wisful thinking, cause it's rather involved if the entire ARS needs to be removed in order to replace the WP and thermostat.

TIA

Not sure if those options make it harder. Have you seen this video?

My 530xi was doable, but it took some patience. It was tighter than the non-xi shown here.

I have a 2006 530i with ARS and active steering in my sport package. When I replaced my water pump and thermostat, I didn't have to undo the hydraulic lines. Removing the bolts to lower the sway bar for more access was all that was needed to complete the job.

You can do a search in the DIY with my username and compare how the two cars are set up with those particular parts.

Good luck!
