i have a rattle which appears to be coming from the door pillar which meets the front screen i have removed the trim to expose the airbag but there is nothing there to provide the rattle, also the rattle is still there whilst the trim is off. My next peice to remove is the trim which looks like there is a speaker beneath it on the door where the wing mirror is. does anyone know how to remove this part

I dont think that part can be removed alone. you need to remove the whole door panel. Are you sure the rattle is not the door seals? lower your window about 1/4 of an inch, just barely cracked open and see if the rattle is still there.
If not... take a look at this. I think the speaker is part of the door panel.
Note: The Pic below is just to show the speaker cover. thats actually how you remove the outter side mirrors.
So if thats the case you need to remove the whole door panel.

the peice of trim in the pic is the part i want to remove but there does not look like there is anything there to rattle. I have had new seals fitted and i have already tried with the window down
