That, I think, is highest hp reading for everyday use so far. SG535d had something like that for one track event, but not for every day use.

Let's hope that it's not too much.

Mine was remapped in Nov-2005. On Febr I took to measure the result. 329,7 hp at 4.150 rpm and 670 Nm torque at 3.150 rpm. Speed limitator was eliminated too.

No smoke, (Anti particules filter is in charge) and a slight reduction in consumtion so far

Regards from Spain

It should hold for everyday use, since i bealive that the engine/turbos are affected by the driving style and less by the mileage. So in a slightly pushed engine, if the driving style is let's say 2000-2500rpm in general, then i don't see the problem (but in a way shit can always happen), and only once or twice a week give it full throttle and sustain it for a couple of hours or so (like in the weekends when traffic is lighter). Of course if you track your car almost weekly than in the long term it can show up problems.
But let's not forget that you are talking with 311bhp and 690 NM from a 530d...
I heard that the unreliable remap begins with 370+bhp on the 535d. Some say that the unit could deliver 400bhp quite easy but with quite alot of fear for the parts on the long term.

Sorry that my english is not that good as yours.

I guess you try to know the diff between HP and HP "to the wheel"

HP Kgm (Nm) Dissipated Power HP "to the wheel"

At 3.100 rpm 290,8 67,2 (658,6) 22,6 268,2 (Max torque)

4.150 329,7 56,9 35,4 294,4 (Max Power)

Cheers

Yes i asked if that numbers were for HP at the wheel or not! Now i'm confused with all the new numbers.
I suspect that at the wheel 294 and flywheel hp (engine) 329,7. Right?

Cheers and good info.

At 3.100 rpm (Max torque) HP : 290,8 Dissipated Power : 22,6 Power to the wheel : 268,2

67,2 Kgm equivalent to : 658,8 Nm

At 4.150
(Max Power) HP : 329,7 Diss Poower : 35,4 Power to the wheel :294,4

56,9Kgm equivalent to 557,6

I hope it is clearer now

Kind regards

Think I have read a comment by a german tuner, that he reckons that 400hp and near 900NM (yes 900), would be achievable, but he also reckons survival of the drivetrain will be a matter of a few weeks only

WOW too bad nothing can be done to reinforce the drivetrain or change to a stronger one...cuz in that case you can say goodbye to the E39 M5. How sick would be that? IN A DIESEL.....................
