I've used these in the past on my previous cars...they lasted about 4-5 years. They are 2500k in color and almost that "Lexus" yellow. http://www.nlmotoring.com/Luminics-J...s-p/ly-h8t.htm
You'll find better prices, I just grabbed the first link I saw. But, they're Luminics JDM Yellow H8's and look great in fog sockets.

since a subject of fog lights...the lenses on my fogs have become "roadblasted". can the lenses only be replaced, or obviously the assembly itself? cost of either if anyone knows...thanks.

same situation here...i don't think the lenses can be replaced, you'd probably have to do the whole assembly. I was going to replace the fogs but found them to be in the range of 100 per side...i think i'm just going to hold out until i do the full mtech kit and get the fogs for that.

Have you guys tried one of those restoration kits? I just did this on my wife's headlights and they came out looking brand new. It's amazing how much light gets restricted from that as well. But it was a 3 step process, lots of elbow work (should have bought the kit that works with a drill), but it was well worth it.

i tried one, made it worse cause i didn't do it right haha, had a detailer fix my mistakes, it looks decent....but i came to the e60 world from an e46, where we can swap out lenses whenever on the headlights, so i'm super ocd about crystal clean lenses.

Thanks guys for the feed back. One more question I was told that sometimes non-OEM bulbs can tend to burn out the fog lamp wire harness is that true?
