Can anyone reccomend any headlight bulbs that are whiter and looks like that you have xenons?

The safest bulb to go with would be the Osram Sylvania SilverStar H7ST they are ~4000K which will be pretty close to the BMW Xenons in "WHITE-ness / BLUE-ness" BMW Xenons are ~4200K as stated somewhere I forget where.

The 4th to the last bulb on ^^^ above link page. Here you can get them at the local Parts store... I thnk they're about $24 USD a bulb.

If you want more blue then go ahead and look for a 4700K bulb from PIAA or somthing but I dont know the exact ones to get but as long as they are H7 type then you are ok. Try to keep within the approx Wattage so you wont be drawing too much current on existing wiring. and of course a 12 Volt bulb.

The H7ST are 12V 55W so they are same as OEM. High Beam's Flash to pass and Low Beam non-Xenon head lights are the same. I've been running the Sylvania H7ST on my flash to pass / Daytime running lights for a while now and no problems. So if 4000K is sufficient enough for you I would recommend those.

Ummm I dunno. they "should" Its suppose to be a standard temperature rating... just like how 85 degrees here in the states should be the same 85 degrees in UK. :D

But if cheapie manufactures mis-lable their product and false advertise a 3700K for 4000K

but ya check out how much they are. Cheapie ones vs higher name brands. I'm sure Osram is sold in UK right? they're the parent company of Sylvania or to that extent.

Oh ya and post a pic when you get them installed. I gotta see.

Ya Osram is good. They're basically Sylvania here in the States, same company.

Which one were you thinking of getting? The Cool Blue? I would recommend the first one, the SilverStars. I know they listed the Cool Blue as more HID look-a-like but I'm not so sure.

Here is a scanned picture of the back of my Sylvania SilverStar H7 box it shows SilverStars being whiter than the Cool Blue and here at the local Kragen Auto Parts store where I got my bulbs the Cool Blue are listed for $16.99 each vs $24.99 for the SilverStars. Somthing tells me the SilverStars are whiter than the Cool Blue.

Thanks mate. :) Looks like that i will get the silverstar then.

By the way, how easy is it to change the bulbs?

Oh too easy! twist off the cap and twist off the bulb holder and then reverse the twist to tighten it...

NOTE: REMEMBER which orentation its in initially. else you might screw in the bulb holder upside down and you'll wonder why it doesnt stay on.

Edit: Wait! thats for High beams... I have Xenons for low beams so I'm not sure how low beams work but I imagine the same thing. Twist off the cover and then twist off the bulb holder. TOO EASY!
