My Ride: 2004 545i, Nav, Logic 7, sport pkg, premium pkg, sport seats, Hoen fogs, rear LED tail lights, super white license bulbs, heated front and rear seats, M-tech front and rear bumper covers, M5 trunks spoiler and finisher.
Desiring euro xenon headlights.
These are some shots of a '06 550i that sustained a front end smack in the Bronx, N.Y. The car was totaled out by the insurance company and re-sold with a salvage title for $26,000.00 Looking at those wheels, I might consider switching mine for the same exact type. BTW, in case you were wondering, this is not my bimmer.

It will be off to Mexico to be repaired for a new life there. That will never happen in the US. The BMW electronic paperwork will note as being salvaged, I assume.

Bummer.
It looks like someone decided they needed the shifter, one of the rear (LCI) lights, the fender turn signal, the plastic engine cover, etc. Maybe the photograper took the other rear light once he was finished snapping the pics!

The scarry thing, it can happen in the US. If car auction sells cars over state boundary the paper trail gets a little murky.
I saw it on the news alot of times, people buying "salvaged" cars thinking the car had no or only minor repairs. The common theme always the cars originated from other states.

It's either that, or maybe YOURS is not a LCI afterall! Since you ought to recognize your car...
