I've always considered matte cars to be a little too "tuner" and something kids do (like adding obnoxiously loud mufflers on a 4-cyl Honda), but on a recent Top Gear the guys were in India. At one point Richard Hammond is doing valet parking and some dude pulls up in a matte black Bugatti or Bently or something that is absoultely stunning. Still not a fan of matte cars, but that one was spectacular.

I think that Audi painted chrome not wrapped. chrome paint cost a lot nd I do not really like that much

 

So that´s why... I didn´t know it was like that across the ocean...

 

Are you talking about the vinyl sticker type wrapping, or doing something like plasti dipping the whole car?

I love the gloss black roof look! Saw one the other day and looked hot!

 

I just had my car wrapped in Satin White and kept the roof gloss black. I love it!

 

It was all black and you wrapped it all white, except for the roof? How much was it? Interesting.

 

How long does wrapping last before the material starts to degrade, especially during the winter?
