many new phones today have phonebooks where you can actually store person's picture with phone number... I wish I-Drive can support jpg for phone calls, so that if a person calls, it will show in the idrive the phone number as well as the small jpg picture of that person... if we do store them into our phones....

also, I hope BMW will eventually change that boring BMW logo each time we start our car... maybe the roundel with "Ultimate Driving Machine"? Can we edit our own logo and put in there?
that would be ultra cool!!

DVD playback & on-board PS2.

If the bloody thing would boot up & navigate quicker then i'd be very happy with just that.

A racing mode that display the oil temp and water temp or even boost pressure for turbo cars on the iDrive screen would be nice if you want to start some spirited driving.

Until if someone hacks it it is not possible to load your own logo and I would not do it, it wud screw the systems up

some options like: even nicer or 3d graphics even in the menu, then settings, and many datas or charts for level of stuff in the car like oil you can see sg in CIP 22, but like others said some more detailed info and more settings. Also to use a better menu structure, I mean I never had any problem with that but still it looks a bit 'motorola' could be better! Consoles and others can be hooked up w nav module.

That would probably be my most desired option. A "glass" cockpit mode would be pretty easy to implement, since all the telemetry is being captured somewhere anyway. Oil temp/pressure, water temp, voltage, etc. They could be represented with cool digital gauges in the main window or just as readouts in the "assistance" window.

Yes, Yes, Yes. And voice control of the destination input. If they can do it for the phonebook, they can do it for NAV info.

Another big feature that I would like is for the UI to return to the last screen you were on when you start the car.

Great idea - I think the only reason most people buy prius's is the little screen in the middle.
