definitely not for an older x5. but I like the e70's though I regularly drive my dad's e70 x5 4.8 for and the rumble is amazing and it moves fast for a big suv, handles very well and its more comfy than my e60 :X (his is fully loaded) but fuel economy is shit tastic, if not for the price of refueling then the time you spend having to go to the gas station will be annoying, at the very least once a week at the gas station, the power and handling feels good but then you go back to the e60 and it just feels more "raw" and right when driving in comparison to the x5

Nope. I was considering it last year before getting my E60 but after getting the E60 I definitely would not switch at this time.

If it was a 2008+ I would do it. I picked up a 2008 X3 with the M package this summer and like it more than my 5.

I wouldn't do it, when I get rid of my E60 it will be for something newer, not older - regardless of how "nice" it is.

yeah good point but the newer it's the more expensive.plus going from a saloon to a 4x4 it's nice.

LOL, not for me, I came from a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, a VERY fast SUV, to get my E60. I have never looked back, the Jeep was MUCH faster, but it also got 9 mpg and cost me $750 a month in gas. No thanks, I'll stick to my E60
