As several here my lease expires in October and I will miss out on the F10 for a couple of years. My original plan was to lease a new loaded 535i for another 36 month term. I then started to think that maybe I should just lease a lesser vehicle, ie 528i with few options on a 24 month term. This would get me past the first year of the F10 then in to the second year of production. Is anybody else considering this or have thoughts? I am not sure house the lease numbers would look on 24 compared to 36 even though the 528i with options stickers for about $53k, and the 535i I was looking at is $62k.

Any thoughts are appreicated.

Im thinking the 535. For about 10K more than the 528, you can gain performance greater than the 550 by obtaining a Juicebox or other ECU remap, and any additional options the 535 has over the 528. You wont spend the next 2 years longing for more power/performance, assuming such is a primary consideration for you.

i would do the 535. I have driven both, and if you are going to get a 528, just get a fully loaded VW to hold you over.

are they not doing 24 month leases on the 535?

a car is a "neccessary evil" you might as well enjoy it. dont look at the 600-700 month 535 payment like a 600-700 a month payement. look at is as a hundred bucks more a month then the 528.

thats what i do when i think of my 600 a month payment. My maxima was 300 a month. i am only paying 300 more a month for a far better vehicle, and a vehicle is a "neccessary evil"

535. The reason like other have said. You'll be happier with 535.
