After you drive those cars, sleeping pills are obsolete.
I agree with respect to most of their offerings with the exception of the Honda S2000, the Infiniti G37 and M45 and the Lexus IFs. Each is an excellent driver's car.

Yep, and the FX35/FX50 is a reasonable alternative to the X5/X6 and virtually all of the Acura range checks most of the performance boxes. They're not poor handling, poor performing cars.

I will say while Lexus is boring to drive, the smoothness is very nice on them. If you are looking for a commuter car and not a speed machine. Usually very reliable too.

Agreed. I drove a base 2009 TL for about 1000 miles in Florida two weeks ago when I was on vacation. Power and handling were superior to the 528 non-sport. Of course, the base TL cannot compare in speed to the 535 or 550 and cannot compete in handling with spirt package equipped non-X drive E60s. But it is a credible car and is not a marsmellow-riding non IFS Lexus. Would I buy a new TL over a 535 or 550? No. But I would over a 528 non-sport.

The FX's are pretty nice, but I have driven the G37S and I have to say it feels very heavy on the road.

I thought that G37 was a pretty lively drive. It does not have the perfect ride/handlin balance of a sport package equipped BMW (the ride is rougher and cruder) but I think that its reflexes are pretty sharp.

See? Even people who's cars where in shops for upwards of 1 month still choose BMW

I had 13.5k in repair work done on my 545i. But still I'd buy another!

I don't know, the ride really didn't speak to me. For me, once you drive BMW with sport suspension, nothing compares (in the same price/weight class anyway). I can't wait for the suspension on the M3! (The wait is very suspenseful....ba dum tshhh )

I've leaaed 2 Infiniti V8 sport package equopped sedans (Q45 and M45) and two BMW V8 sport package equipped sedmans (540 and 550). The Infinits both had responsive, crisp handling and were fine in the twisties. The problem was that unlike BMW, the Infinitis achieved their handling performance at the expense of all ride comfort. The suspensions had zero compliance and simply fell apart over sharp bumps, sending shudders throughout the cars. To me, Infiniti is a credible performance alternative to BMW but still not nearly as refined as a BMW sport suspension.
