I was looking at getting a 2005 545i but is it worth it to go for the 2006 550i? The speed doesnt really concern me because the 550i's not that much faster and the 545i has plenty for me, but overall, what do you guys think? Thanks!!

go for the one with Heads Up Display, if both have it, go for the one with the highest specs, if they are equal on that too, go for the one with the nicest colour, IF THAT'S THE SAME TOO go for the 545 to save urself a few "cents" on petrol since ur not gonna use it as a track car, so no need for the 1 second faster acceleration !

I have the 2007 550i and this is the best car ever! I would highly recommend you go with the 550i.

my 545i is faster than a stock 550i. it depends how much mods u wanna put in. I recommend the 550i. LCIs look just so much better

i say go for the 550. it may be a little more costly but its a decision you wont regret later.
when im in this siutation i always get that thought in my head, "the 545 is more than enough for me", now...1 year later you will say, "shoulda spent the little extra and gotten the 550", just because its newer, its lci, and faster.

LCI is 2008+. Though someone had pointed out that there were some late production 2007's LCI's. I am not positive about that.

im pretty positive about the late production lci
my friend had a 09/01 later build 07 530i lci.
