Tie:
(1) Buying Replica Wheels
(2) Replacing the K&N Air Filter only to have my car stall on me (bad air sensor).
Both of these problems were of my own doing, but what fun is a car that can't be mod'd.

My worst experience is yet to come. Considering I have yet to buy my new 550i.
But that worst experience will be when I try to sell it.
The price for a late model 550i is tanking as the clock ticks. I'm really shocked at the pathetic resale these things are getting now. Either lease and pay for the interim pleasure, or drive them till they die, as they suck you dry with repair costs.

the dreaded "SOS Malfunction"!! Only happened twice since I bought the car in July. I can live with one occurrence every 2-3 months... more frequently than that and I might have to make a service appointment to see what's what. Not a huge problem, but the last time it happened the sound system got all screwed up too... couldn't change the volume, radio station, change to CD, or even turn the sound off! It sure was weird when I shut off the car, removed the key, and the radio WAS STILL PLAYING for a minute or two!
