Good morning, Firstly the car; E60 525Td

Ok, here we go. I stripped the car down last week to replace a blown turbo, now put everything back together and she wont start. The engine turns over, splutters and just repeats that cycle, probably until the battery goes flat. Ok suggestions and advice please, I think this may be a fuel issue. As you know to strip the inlet manifold off the car and the air filter housing you have to remove the oil return line and remove injectors. Is this where the problem could lie? I was advised the injectors are coded to the car, so no issue with that, but I foolishly did not label them when removing so they have not been installed in the same hole that they came out of, could that be the issue, some say not???? Do I need to bleed the fuel through from somewhere, totally lost and at sea. Its all there but wont bloody start!!

I was told by a mechanic at a local indy shop that after replacing a turbo the car would need to be coded in order for it to work properly. Dont see how that would keep your car from starting but just offering my .02 cents. I have a program called ALLDATA that MIGHT be able to shine some light on your issue but i wont be home until 9pm Pacific standard time here in the US. This program is essentially just a huge repair/maintenance manual but there may be some key notes in the turbo replacement section. i'll give it a quick read tonight when i get home.
