I know , they don't on the E53 either. I just go short journeys and if you turn the ignition off and back on again it resets the counter and it sprays them.

doesnt really bother me , ive got the bodywork well waxed and the washer fluid just wipes off with a sponge and some NXT body wash

It dose not matter what you use as long as itis design just for the windscreen wippers.
In HK we get it free when we fill the carup at Shell staytions. No need to buy.
