I remember fighting this myself, you had to come in at an angle so the nose of the arm went into the pocket of the clip correctly before it would go on far enough so the button would engage. The first one was quite the struggle, the second went right on.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and put an old folded a few times towel on windshield. WHile you are fussing with the arm and blade it is too easy to fumble the arm and it can easily crack the windshield when the metal lands on glass.

OK everyone, I really appreciate all of the responses. I finally got it resolved; here's what I did:
1. Return ill-fitting blade to WalMart
2. Bite bullet and buy perfectly fitting blade set from dealer using wholesale account
On an unrelated note, my 6HP19 bridge seal, sealing sleeves, and solenoid set showed up on my doorstep today. I plan on writing a well documented DIY thread on how to replace all of these sometime in the next few weeks.

I bought Bosch just like in the picture. Glad you got it worked out.

Okay I'm bumping a really old thread here... but I am internet surfing and wanted to order a set.
22OE and 24OE is what everyone mentions, and rockauto. But there's a "set" that I've seen on amazon and rockauto that has a 24 and 23" Bosch 3397118955 what gives with that extra 1" on the driver's side? I'm going to look at my car when I get off work to see if there's something fishy.. or if it can fit a 23" blade.

I ordered this exact set from Amazon last week and they fit PERFECTLY with the appropriate clips already installed. Took less than 2 minutes to get the old ones off and the new ones on. Was worth the $40 IMO.

Just an update... I got these blades in, they had multi languages on.. they were EXACTLY what was on the car before.. which I hope last as long since I haven't had to change them in 2+ years
I don't know what the fuss is about in terms of changing them.. maybe because most people are used to sliding them off. I looked at the new ones, looked at them on the actual wiper arm, and pinched the two pieces of plastic, it rotated/fell off.. and the new one flipped and clicked in right away.. easy peasy.. took me longer to open the package than it did to put the wipers on. Just in time, we got hit with more nasty weather and rain.. thankfully no more snow/ice yet..
