Hi to all!

My current winter tires set up is 245/40R18 with a Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D Performance Winter / Snow tires. Is it okay to change my current set up into a 225/50-17?
Thank you!

Not sure about 545i, but I am running that size on my '08 535i with sport package.

Shouldn't be a problem, that is the standard spec wheel/tyre for 530D in UK and Europe

Remember on a winter set up thinner is better. So go with the 225/50-17. I have that for my 545 with Michelin alpine winter tires and they handle well considering its rwd.
