winter tires for 166 any suggestions?

hey guys,
I have the 166s with m6 offsets.
I'm moving to indiana in a few months, I know the weather will be coooold as hell and icy. It's about time to change out my shoes so I wanted to know what you guys suggested.
My current tires are faulken 452s:
front: 245/35
rear: 275/30
Wondering if I can go with some reliable winter tires and change the tire profile higher to reduce the gaps.
Please help!

As far as snow tires go i would recommend Bridgestone Blizzaks.
I've used them in the past on my BMW's with great success.
I will be buying a set this summer for my e60.

My Ride: 07 E61 530d M-Sport.
Ive used Continental ContiWinterContact TS810 Sport tyres and they offer fantastic grip in the winter. pretty much the same levels of grip as high performance summer tyres do on hotter roads. Although they arent cheap http://www.conti-online.co.uk/generator/ww...ts_810s_en.html.

I have used Continental ContiWinterContact on all of my BMW cars, and I have been really happy with them. They are great in Finnish winter weather.

My Ride: 2011, X6 Hybrid . Alpine White , every option. 20" Conti' NON runflats,OEM trunk spoiler , LUX V3 AE's , HP Thunder Fogs , custom front bumper reflector delete........
I would not suggest changing tires onto your 166s back and forth , some tire jockey will end up ruining your rims. get a cheaper wheel and new snowies and just change rims with tires every year. GL
